The training at A-Plus is thorough and professional, covering areas such as log-book preparation, road rules and automatic and manual driving skills.

Lessons are held in locations offering an education in many areas of driving, including competencies that are traditionally considered “difficult” such as three-point turns, reverse parking and hill starts.

These can be difficult manoeuvres for some learners  and the instructor will take particular care to teach these lessons in locations that make students feel relaxed and confident.

“Depending on the student’s ability we will begin at Town Beach where the streets are wide and the traffic light. Gradually, we’ll move closer to town where the traffic is heavier and features devices such as traffic lights and roundabouts,”  instructor Richard Shea said.
